The Type 97 FTU is a gas operated, magazine fed, semi- automatic rifle built on a Bullpup platform. The new FTU (Flat Top Upper) has been designed by a Canadian company and does away with the awkward looking carry handle found on early models. It provides a full length top rail for mounting the sights or optics of your choice.
